Welcome to the Gloucestershire CPSA website.
As a county we are incredibly lucky to have some fantastic shooting grounds, excellent coaches and a wealth of top class shooters – in all disciplines. A community of people who are supportive and keen to bring more people into the sport.

If you are new to the area or the sport and want somewhere to shoot practice or competitions please refer to our grounds page for more information on where you can shoot and their contact information. Most of these grounds offer shooting instruction and can offer lessons from an introductory level to improvement in technique.

Westfield Shooting Ground, Longridge Shooting Ground and Windrush Shooting Ground all currently offer 100 Bird Sunday Registered shoots for sporting and FITASC disciplines, Ian Coley Shooting School offer many Trap Disciplines and Compact Sporting. If you would like a club level shoot to attend then Corinium offer a sporting layout regularly and Gloucester Skeet Club offer Olympic and English Skeet.

The Gloucestershire Committee meet annually in January (everyone welcome!) and a couple of times through the year for team selections and fixtures. Team selections for all disciplines take place in June/July – if you are interested in shooting for the County then please contact Steve on the above numbers. The selection process is usually worked from the CPSA averages – Jan – June, shooters must have shot at least 500 registered targets during this period to qualify.
